Ocular Pathology

Leandro Teixeira

Dr. Teixeira is a Board Certified Veterinary Pathologist and an Assistant Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison. His clinical and research interests include comparative ocular pathology, microscopic imaging (light and electron microscopy, multiphoton laser-scanning microscopy and computational image analysis) and extracellular matrix alterations in ocular disease. Other research interests include animal models of glaucoma, ocular immunopathology and morphology of ocular neovascular diseases.

T. Michael Nork

Dr. Nork is a founder, serves as a member of the Executive Board, and provides consulting on many aspects of vision science.

Dr. Nork is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is fellowship trained in ophthalmic pathology, and his clinical specialties include diseases, surgery of the retina and vitreous, and clinical electrophysiology.

Richard Dubielzig

Dr. Dubielzig is a founder, former managing member, and currently provides consulting on ocular pathology.

Dr. Dubielzig is a Board Certified Veterinary Pathologist, and Professor of Pathology, School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is primarily interested in comparative ocular pathology, but has written and lectured widely on diverse topics concerning veterinary ophthalmic pathology, laboratory animal ocular pathology and comparative ocular morphology.

Daniel Albert

Dr. Albert is a founder, former managing member, and currently provides consulting on ocular pathology.

Dr. Albert is the RRF Emmett A. Humble Distinguished Director of the UW Eye Research Institute, Frederick A. Davis Professor of Ophthalmology and Former Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He is widely recognized as an expert in ocular pathology and is Director of the Ocular Pathology Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
