
OSOD LLC is delighted to announce the addition of four distinguished members to our team of vision scientists. Each of these individuals possesses valuable expertise and brings unique perspectives to the field of ophthalmology and we are honored to have them as a part of our team.
Dr. Soohyun Kim is an assistant professor at the University of California-Davis, specializing in clinical comparative ophthalmology and glaucoma. Her research interests include corneal wound healing, ocular toxicity, and advanced imaging techniques.
Ms. Mary S. Newman is a regulatory affairs expert with over 35 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, focusing on ophthalmology and rare diseases with high unmet medical needs. She has held management positions in regulatory affairs at several companies, including BioMarin Pharmaceutical and Astellas Gene Therapies.
Dr. Wendy M. Townsend is a professor at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. Her clinical and research interests include canine inherited ocular disease, ocular imaging, uveitis, and fungal keratitis.
Shin Ae Park, DVM, PhD, DACVO is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist. One of her research interests is to improve our understanding and management of glaucoma in animals.
