After obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue University, Dr. Steven Hollingsworth pursued a residency in comparative ophthalmology at UC Davis. He became a member of the faculty in 1994 and has played a significant role in the clinical teaching service, which has gained a reputation for exceptional residency training and clinical service both nationally and internationally. For two decades, Hollingsworth served as chief of service and also held positions as President of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and Chair of the examination committee for that specialty college.
