Ms. Plasil has a background in animal and human biology with core medical laboratory experience and over a decade of practice in ophthalmology. Within OSOD, she is skilled at working with multiple animal species including non-human primates, canines, rodents, and rabbits. Having proficiency with a variety of diagnostic systems, her multiple data acquisition roles include electrophysiological testing, ultrasound pachymetry, corneal confocal microscopy, as well as retinal imaging OCT and anterior segment OCT. Ms. Plasil also provides administrative support in the form of data reporting, processing, and reviewing. Additionally, she has worked in developing OSOD instrument operating procedures and training guides, as well as maintaining equipment log records.
